“We were with the 3 of us and David was our guide. A very kind guide who ecplains everything very clearly. The Aurora tour was amazing, even though we did not see the Aurora (low KP levels on the aurora app, so nothing the tour or tourguide can do about that), David brought us to beautiful dark places with the snowmobile. I would only recommend driving on a snow mobile if you are an experienced car/motor/scooter driver. It feels maybe a bit tricky in the beginning, but if you are an experienced driver, you get the hang of it very soon during the tour. 100% worth our money, as it…”

“Zonder noorderlicht (wat natuurlijk nooit te garanderen is) is deze tocht wat magertjes. Het is vooral een (koude) tocht over het meer in een slee achter een sneeuwscooter gevolgd door een tussenstop in een tipi tent met vuur waarop worstje/soep/brood worden klaargemaakt en waar je de gelegenheid krijgt 2 rendieren te voeren. Daarna nog paar minuten terug met de slee naar de auto die ons terugbracht naar de beginlocatie waar we onze dikke geleende pakken konden inleveren en daarna teruggebracht werden naar ons hotel. Als totaalpakket niet slecht als aanbod, maar in de praktijk zonder noorderlicht heeft het weinig om het lijf.”

Vertelden ons vanalles met het enthousiasme alsof ze het voor de eerste keer deden. Wat zeker niet het geval was, te merken aan de soepele manier waarop de trip verliep. We hebben alles bij elkaar een uur op het meer gereden in een grote 10-persoons slee die door Laurie werd getrokken met een snowmobile. We hadden de pech dat er precies boven ons een wolk hing dus konden we Noorderlicht niet zien. Iets later, na het eten, trok de wolk weg en zagen we wel vage strepen. Mooie foto's…”

“Our guide, David, was excellent. Very friendly and informative. He suggested photo stops on the road to Inari which we wouldn't have known about. He also stopped of in Ivalo for souvenir shopping, and took an unscheduled diversion to the top of thecski slopes in Saariselka. The museum is interesting, but compact. The Sami village is a collection of huts and dwellings, but there are no Sami people there to interact with or meet. In my opinion, the description on the Viator website is a little misleading in this respect. You could easily get a bus to Inari and visit the museum for much much less.”
